With this case I expand my Mous.co collection. This time with the Mous Limitless 2.0 Leather iPhone X Case.

Rather than just regurgitate what I have already written about the Mous.co Carbon Fibre case please take a few moments and have a quick read of it.
The first comment I made in that review was about a missed shipping date and how this is only to be expected with cloud funding – glitches happen etc etc. That point is no longer relevant. We are now no longer in the cloud funding world, we are now buying off a well established business. Shipping time was a couple of days and as you would now expect I had the case within the week.
Another glorious day on the Isle of Man. So it was off to the course to have a few runs round the Mountain Road before heading to a new vantage point to watch the evening’s qualifying / practice sessions.
The first thing I noticed was the iconic house that I knew as the ‘PokerStars House’ was now the ‘Honda House.’
Missing getting over the mountain in 2016 I watched the session from this park – it is a good viewing area if you ever visit.
If you look towards the house you will see lots of bikes parked up. That’s because the Mountain section was closed due to a collision, unfortunately this year this was an all too common occurrence.
My trip over to this year’s (2018) Isle of Man TT Races got me there just in time for the final race session from the Billown Circuit, – the Pre-TT in Castletown. This session is generally held on the Monday at the start of practice week however this year it has been moved to the Sunday (one day before). This works well as it means you can sit relax and enjoy the racing without having to worry about getting to your chosen spot on the TT Circuit for the Monday night practice.
Also the Sunday night of practice week was traditionally a bit slack, with very little going on. That has now all changed as we now have racing all day and evening.
The Pre-TT runs in Castletown, Isle of Man on the Billown Circuit on the Friday, Saturday (1st Day of Practice) and Sunday. The Southern 100 series markets itself as ‘the Friendly Races’ and ‘Road Racing’s Biggest Secret’ and that’s a pretty fair representation.
This muti bike start meeting covers classics, junior and senior as well as classic suberbikes and sidecars.
The crowds are not massive (they deserve to be) – the people are friendly the pits are wide open with the riders all working hard and happy to interact with the spectators.
If you like a grandstand there are a couple near to the start / finish line where seats start at the princely sum of £1.00!
Drinks, food, refreshments, souvenirs etc are all there and all reasonably priced – all in all this is a great meeting, very akin to any of the Irish / Northern Irish National meetings and although the crowds weren’t huge it has a very loyal following with plenty of visitors coming from the Emerald Isle (and all over) purely for this meeting and the heading home before the TT proper even gets underway. That in itself is a fine testament to this meeting and it really should make it onto everyone’s to do list.

I am still currently using that very case and have been since writing the review. I am still hugely impressed by it along with its build quality and durability. No doubt it was expensive at the time but it still looks as new and despite being used daily there isn’t a mark on it.
Casio G-Shock GBA-800 Unboxing and Initial Review (GBA-800-9AER)
At CES 2018, Casio introduced two new G-Shock watches to its ever growing collection of tough timepieces. Known as the GBA-800 and GPR-B1000, both devices connect to the G-Shock Connected app to help track different metrics and information.
The relevant watch to this review is from G-Shock’s new G-Squad series, the GBA-800 — a hybrid fitness watch that you can adds a little bit of fitness tech to G-Shock’s already iconic style. It comes in six different colour models – and of course the poster child for the series is the almost day-glo yellow (or is it green) model.
Using a built-in accelerometer the watch measures your daily steps along with your walking or running pace, the amount of steps you’ve taken will be displayed on the watch, both as a figure and a graphic.

The advert that caught my attention was one outside the Apple Store in London where they went in and purchased an iPhone X on release day, popped it in their case, walked outside and chucked it up in the air. This all being done right in front of a crowd of Apple fans looking to go in and buy the very phone that was now taking a live flying lesson with a combined drop test onto the concrete right in front of their own eyes.
That’s a ballsy move and on watching how the case coped with drop after drop and even being offered to the public to have a go my mind was made up. The order was placed with an expected shipping date of 21st November 2017.
The weather has dominated the news at the 2017 Isle of Man TT Races so far. Why? Because it has been awful. We should have had practice on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so far. However due to a combination of rain, fog and rain and fog we have only had a one complete session which was Tuesday’s (30/05/2017).
The weather on Tuesday was glorious and to be honest bar a bit of a wash out on Sunday all day, the weather for some reason really has it in for the races at the minute as it has a tendancy to close in towards the late afternoon and evening. Wednesday for examole was a glorious morning, come the late afternoon it started to close in and only one lap of the session was completed before the organsisers called the session off.

We are now 1,539 practice @iom_tt laps behind last year (2016) or over 58,000 miles of a difference – almost 2.5 trips around the Earth!
