Gymkhana 2020: Travis Pastrana Takeover; Ultimate Hometown Shred in an 862hp Subaru STI :
More than a decade-long rivalry between friends and rally drivers Travis Pastrana and Ken Block has culminated in a passing of the torch. Travis Pastrana is trying his hand at his own Gymkhana film, shot and edited by the same crew that makes all the Gymkhana films: Hoonigan Media Machine. Who’s the real winner here? You!
On a personal note I am a huge Ken Block fan, and love the Gymkhana videos. For me, as an ex-Subaru Impreza WRX STI Prodrive owner I was always a little biased towards the Subaru videos so was thrilled to see the Subaru back as the feature car.
I wasn’t too sure about Travis Pastrana being the featured driver, no disrespect intended, the guy is clearly a ridiculously skilful pilot, but, I am just a big Ken Block fan. However after about 12 seconds of watching this video my fears were quelled. Let’s just say it as it is… ‘WOWZERS!’
Pastrana nails Gymkhana 2020, is outstanding, so fair play to everyone involved in making this video, the talent in everything from the driving to the editing is just epic, and the Gorilla on the Segway is pretty skilful too!
Before you start, relax, turn up the resolution as high as your screen will let you, go full screen and if you have some decent headphones but them on and turn them up your mind is about to be blown!
Gymkhana 2020 is definitely something good to have come out of 2020!
