Jacob’s Supercars | Driving Exotic Cars NI/ROI | The Vintage Vehicles Group | hosted their 2024 Spring Charity Run in Aid of Action Cancer on Sunday 14th April 2024.
The route took the scenic non coastal route from Lisburn to Coleraine.
With over 100 vehicles turning out to make the trip it was quite the convey from Lisburn to Portrush.
Dubshed 2024, one of Northern Ireland’s largest car show, kicked off the show season in spectacular style at the beginning of the month.
Held once again at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn, this year’s event offered two full days of displays and exhibitions for a ticket price of £25.

The Motorcycle Club of Ireland has announced that motorcycle sports events will return to Ireland in 2024 after a year-long hiatus due to a lack of adequate insurance cover. The Irish Sidecar Club and the Irish Sidecar and Motorcycle Racing Supporters Club have issued a press release via Facebook inviting anyone with a genuine desire to get involved in sidecar racing to get in touch and get things in motion to make that happen. If you have an interest in racing the three wheelers then now may well be the time to step up and make it happen!
The Classic Bike Festival Ireland is back in 2024 and promises to be bigger and better than ever before! The event will be held at the Bishopscourt Race Circuit in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland on 3rd and 4th August 2024. The festival is likely to feature classic racing, sidecars, parade laps, and modern race bikes. With over 230 riders on 280 bikes on track over the weekend, there will surely be something for all motorcycle race fans to enjoy 1.
The 2023 Sunflower Trophy marking the end of the Ulster Superbike Championship was held at Bishopscourt Race Circuit on October 21-22, shrugging off a weather-induced rescheduling. After cancelling Friday’s activities, the event managed to maintain two full days of racing. The 2023 Classic Bike Festival Ireland was an exceptional event that featured parade laps, races, and live entertainment. The author enjoyed watching the impressive machines and riders, including legends like McWilliams, Rutter, and Anstey. The event was well-organised and executed, despite the rain at the end.
