With family permission, ‘Hefty74 – Motoškola’ have made an announcement on their official social media pages following the passing of Kamil Holán on Thursday 7th May 2026 during the second practice session at the 2026 North West 200.
Thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

“The engines went down today. Our Kamil Holán has passed away.
With indescribable pain in our hearts we announce that today at the second qualification of North West 200, our beloved Kamil Holán left us forever.
A man who breathed for motorcycle sport passed away. Kamil was not just an incredible racer and a legend of Czech road racing, who bravely conquered the toughest tracks in the world from Hořice to the Isle of Man. He was above all a wonderful friend, a man of great character.
Kamil, you were an inspiration, support and a partner in life and on the track. Your humility, passion and smile will be missed every second. Thank you for everything you have given and been for us. Your legacy will live on in Hefty74 and in our hearts.
We express our deepest and most sincere condolences to his entire family and all loved ones.
Rest in peace, Camile. We will miss you.
