2026 Manx Grand Prix Results :

The 2026 Manx Grand Prix was scheduled to take place from 16th August – 24th August 2026. The MGP Schedule also takes in qualifying for the Classic TT Races with Classic Racing Events running until 28th August 2026.

The 2026 Manx Grand Prix delivered history on the Snaefell Mountain Course, headlined by a record-breaking four-race clean sweep by Galashiels rider Johnny Stewart. With the Classic TT returning as a standalone event, the 102nd edition of the MGP focused on contemporary machinery across the Sportbike, Supersport, Junior, and Senior classes.

Qualifying Overview :

Qualifying week delivered rapid times under favorable weather. Johnny Stewart signaled his intentions early by topping the Supersport leaderboard aboard the LPA Racing Ducati Panigale V2, posting a 120.593 mph flyer. In the Sportbike sessions, Liam Chawke (113.374 mph), Eddy Wormald, and Lee Hara consistently featured near the top of the sheets before Stewart clocked a benchmark 114.502 mph lap in the closing sessions.

Race Highlights & Results :

Sportbike Manx Grand Prix

Stewart converted his qualifying pace into an immediate opening-lap cushion of 10.6 seconds. Pushing the advantage on the third and final circuit with a race-fastest lap of 116.844 mph (19:22.474), Stewart took the chequered flag by over 22 seconds. Behind him, Eddy Wormald rode a measured race on his Yamaha R7 to secure second, while Irish newcomer Kevin Lavery delivered an impressive Mountain Course debut to claim the final step of the podium.

Supersport Manx Grand Prix

Aboard the LPA Racing Ducati V2, Stewart unleashed blistering pace, breaking away to an early 17.8-second lead on lap one and setting a class race record lap at 121.663 mph. Northern Ireland’s Lee Hara matched the 120 mph benchmark in second until an unfortunate final-lap off at Braddan ended his charge. Graham McAleese capitalized to take the runner-up spot, while Wormald secured his second podium of the day in third.

Carole Nash Junior Manx Grand Prix

The scheduled three-lap contest was halted on the third lap after a red-flag incident involving Liam Chawke. The result was declared based on positions at the end of lap two, confirming Stewart’s third victory of the meeting. Veteran Isle of Man competitor Dan Sayle secured second place, while Wormald banked his third rostrum finish of the week in third.

Okell’s Senior Manx Grand Prix

The blue-riband Senior race saw Stewart cement his place in road racing history by becoming the first rider in the event’s 103-year history to win four races in a single week. Setting a commanding pace aboard the Ducati V2, he reached a best lap speed of 122.038 mph, taking the win by 35.823 seconds. Wormald finished second—capping off an exceptional meeting with four podiums from four starts—holding off a hard-charging McAleese by 10.844 seconds.

Stewart’s clean sweep and sub-record laps set a new benchmark for middleweight and twin-cylinder machinery on the Isle of Man Mountain Course. Coupled with resilient podium campaigns from Eddy Wormald and Graham McAleese, the 2026 meeting proved one of the most record-laden Manx Grand Prix events in recent history.
