2023 Ulster Grand Prix to Go Ahead?
A post has appeared on Facebook claiming that an application has been made for a 2023 Ulster Grand Prix.
“The Revival Racing Motorcycle Club have officially applied to the MCUI (UC) to run the 2023 Ulster Grand Prix on Saturday 12th August (subject to BSB dates). This club is headed by Phillip McCallen a 16-time winner around the Dundrod Circuit.”

The last time the Ulster Grand Prix ran was 2019, financial difficulties and rumours re the alleged poor management of the event spread like wildfire, much like Covid 19, which ultimately resulted in the event being cancelled in 2020 and 2021.
A last ditched effort to save the event for the Centenary year of 2022 failed and a Day of Celebration was instead panned to mark the 100th year.
This is superb news for the 2023 Road Racing Calendar and may be a lifeline to the event in the longer term.
