2026 Skerries 100 Results :
The 2026 Skerries 100 marked the return of road racing to the Republic of Ireland and was held over the weekend of 4th – 5th July 2026.
Saturday 4th July saw practice sessions completed across all classes with racing scheduled for Sunday 5th July 2026.
Unfortunately the event was struck by tragedy following the death of a competitor in Race 2 – Junior Support, which resulted in the event being cancelled as a mark of respect for the fallen rider.
2026 Kells Road Races Results :
Road Racing finally returned to the Republic of Ireland for the first time since Covid brought it to an unprecedented end in 2020. Then the difficulties in obtaining insurance really looked like it was threatening the very future of bikes ever returning to race between the Irish hedges.
2026 promised a return for Irish Road Racing and Saturday and Sunday 20th and 21st June 2026 saw that promise come to fruition with the Kells Road Races taking place on the 3.5km Crossakiel Circuit.

Kells Road Races – 2026 Set for Exciting Return to Crossakiel
CC’s Unlimited Kells Road Race CLG are excited to announce that they will return to Crossakiel, Co. Meath on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June 2026, bringing another thrilling weekend of motorcycle road racing to the area.
Riders and race fans from across Ireland and beyond are expected to attend the event, which last ran in 2022 and has become a major fixture on the Irish road racing calendar over the years. The event promises two days of exciting racing action on the Crossakiel circuit, with a full programme of races planned across the weekend.
2026: ONE OF IRELAND’S GREAT ROAD RACES CONTINUES TO DEFY CHALLENGES FACING THE SPORT – CELEBRATING 80 YEARS OF PURE ROAD RACING
The Loughshinny Motorcycle Supporters Club (LMSC) are announcing the return of the Country Crest Skerries 100 in what is its 80th year of pure road racing. Road race dates are Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026.
This iconic course stretches for 2.9 miles around the outskirts of the picturesque town of Skerries, with its breathtaking sea views and plush countryside.
A lot has happened in the racing world since these road races were last run in 2022. Like many events, the Country Crest Skerries 100 now operates in a more challenging environment shaped by rising costs and safety expectations. Following signi+cant strides in meeting these challenges and successfully securing insurance for the event, the LMSC will continue to run all classes and have some new exciting additions to the race programme. Further information on this and more will be provided through the Club’s usual social media outlets and website closer to the event.
The Kells Road Races Club have announced via via Facebook that their event will run in 2026.

The Loughshinny Club have confirmed via a social media posting today that 2026 will see a return to road racing for the Skerries 100.
