2022 Armoy Results :

The 2022 Armoy Road Races ran over the weekend of Friday 29th and Sauturday 30th July 2022. Practice Sessions were held on the Friday night session. Two races were also scheduled however did not go ahead due to deteriorating weather conditions. The following races were held on Saturday 30th July 2022.

The results from the event are as follows :

Davy Todd set a new track record of 1:40.442s in Race 7 : Euro Autospares Open A.

Davy Todd set a new track record of 1:39.773s in Race 13 : Bayview Hotel Race of Legends.

Race Week starts on Sunday 24th July, Please drive with care and allow extra time for your journey. You should expect disruption and slow/heavy volume of vehicles during events, particulary at;

  • 24st July – 10.30am high number of motorbike leaving Armoy for Bike run, returning mid afternoon to Armoy (approx 3.00pm)
  • 27th July – 6.30pm onwards, Armoy village will be visited by the Vintage and Classic Car display followed by 2 laps of the Armoy circuit (approx 8.30pm), expect high volume of cars and spectators in and around the village of Armoy.
  • 28th July – very similiar to the car display, this time we have the Classic Motorbike display and tour of the Armoy circuit from 6.30pm in and around the Main Street of Armoy village and circuit. Expect high volume of spectators in and around the village of Armoy.
  • Friday 29th July: Practice day and the roads close from 11.00am – 9.30pm. Expect disruption and slow traffic movement prior to 11.00am, when the road closes promptly, follow diversion signs.
  • Saturday 30th July: Race Day and roads close from 9.00am – 7-30pm. Expect disruption and slow traffic movement from early morning on race day. Roads close sharply at 9.00am, Diversion signs are in place.

Armoy Circuit Map

Armoy Circuit Map :

The Armoy Race Circuit is 3.03 miles long and Triangular in shape. It is ridden in an anti-clockwise direction. The Grid is set up in a Grand Prix style, with 3 groups of nine riders up to a maximum of 27 riders starting each race. Hillside Road, Glenshesk Road and Lagge Road often used by the Armoy Armada to test their bikes on, are still the same roads used today for the Official Armoy Road Races.

Tickets / Entry Fee : 

There are two (2) types of Programme, Parking and Wristbands packages in support of the Armoy Road Races 2022.

Option 1 – is a General Parking, Programme and Wristband package and is £25.

Option 2 – is specific to Motorhome Parking, (sorry guys, you do take up a lot of room) Programme and Wristband and is £30.


Roads Close on Friday 29th July for practice and qualifying in and around the village of Armoy from 11.00am – 9.30pm.

Roads Close on Saturday 30th July for the Armoy Road Races and the Bayview, Race of Legends from 9.00am – 7.30pm.
