2022 Pre-TT Classic Races Results

2022 Pre-TT Classic Races Results :

The Pre-TT Classic Races ran this year from 27th May, 28th May and 30th May at the Billown Circuit.

Friday night and Saturday afternoon hosted the Practice Sessions with Saturday night and Monday hosting the racing.

The results for the 2022 event are as follows :

RACE A : BLACKFORDS 350/500 CONSOLATION RACE

RACE 7 : VINTAGE MCC (IoM SECTION) 350cc CLASSIC RACE

RACE 8 : GREYSTONE LLC 500cc SENIOR CLASSIC RACE

RACE 9 : 4 HIRE SENIOR POST CLASSIC SUPERBIKE RACE

RACE 10 : 3 WHEELING SIDECAR RACE 2

2020 PRE-TT CLASSIC & POST TT RACES CANCELLED :

Southern 100 Racing, organisers of the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races & Silicone Post TT Road Races are very conscious of the unprecedented situation regarding the COVID 19 outbreak and are fully behind the Isle of Man Government’s Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK’s decision to cancel the 2020 TT Races and the races that traditionally open and close the TT Festival in the interest of the health of the people of the Island, but also the safety of our volunteers, officials, local residents and landowners around the Colas Billown Course and also the competitors and spectators and the wider general public.

Whilst planning for the 2020 Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races and the Silicone Post TT Road Races were well advanced and entries being received and accepted and course preparation due to commence, Southern 100 Racing are saddened that they are having to cancel both events which have grown in popularity over the years and have become an integral part of the TT Festival.

The Club is presently reviewing the situation regarding holding the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races later in the year, however it will not be possible to re-arrange the Silicone Post TT Road Races.

Southern 100 Racing will be in contact with all competitors, who have entered either or both the Pre-TT & Post TT Races regarding refund of entry fees in the next fortnight.

In the meantime, please put the following dates in your diary for 2021 (they have already been added to the TBNI Road Racing Calendar): Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races – Friday, Saturday and Monday 28^th, 29^th & 30^th May and the Silicone Post TT Road Races on Saturday 12^th June. Look forward to seeing you at and around the Colas Billown Course then.

I got over to the Isle of Man for the last day of the Blackford Pre-TT Classic Races in Billown, Isle of Man which takes place on the Southern 100 course.

This is a brilliant event with really good racing over small engine 250cc classes right through to Classic Superbikes and Sidecars.

If you are lucky enough to be over prior to the start of the TT it is an absolute necessary stop – three days of great multi start racing. Or even better if you are planning your trip over for the TT you really should consider factoring in an extra couple of days and take in this event.

Don’t forget the Post-TT Races – so you should maybe factor in an extra day on the end of your trip!
