It is only about a month until the release of MacOS 11 (Big Sur), iPadOS and iOS 14. With each update will come a host of new features and additions to trick out your Mac or iDevice. The question is will your current device get the update or is it time to consider an upgrade?

This is where the big changes start! The following Macs will be cut, meaning no MacOS 11 Big Sur support for:
- 2012 MacBook Airs
- mid-2012 MacBook Pro
- 2013 MacBook Pro
- 2012 Mac mini
- 2013 Mac mini
- 2012 iMacs
- 2013 iMacs
And the Macs that will get the Big Sur update are:
- MacBook (2015 and later)
- MacBook Air (2013 and later)
- MacBook Pro (late 2013 and later
- Mac mini (2014 and later)
- iMac (2014 and later)
- iMac Pro (2017 and later — all models)
- Mac Pro (2013 and later)

WATCHOS 7

If you’re still rock a Series 1 or 2 Apple Watch you will not be receiving the 2020 WatchOS 7 update.
The following Apple Watch models will be supported:
- Apple Watch Series 3
