FHO have announced today via a Press Release and Facebook Post that Davey Todd will join the Team full time for their BSB and roads campaign.
Davey Todd steps up to the British Superbike Championship with FHO Racing BMW Motorrad
The FHO Racing BMW Motorrad team is delighted to announce that the 2024 National Superstock Champion Davey Todd will join the team for the 2025 season, as Davey steps up to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship full-time aboard the BMW M 1000 RR.
With a formidable line-up for the 2025 BSB season, Davey joins Faye Hoโs squad alongside Peter Hickman as the FHO Racing team look to lift the Bennetts British Superbike Championship trophy for the first time.
Two-time National Superstock Champion (2022, 2024), Davey is no stranger to the BMW M 1000 RR, having won this yearโs title aboard the Superstock version. Taking the BMW to the top step on three occasions, his consistency won him the overall title as he stood on the podium a further nine times.
Meanwhile Hicky maintains his long-standing relationship with Team Principal Faye Ho, as the 2025 season marks his fourth year with the FHO Racing BMW Motorrad squad. Having been a part of the team since it made its debut in the British Championship in 2012, Peter has enjoyed BSB wins and podiums aboard the BMW M 1000 RR, despite a challenging time this year in the series.
The team are looking forward to getting the 2025 season started, but will be in action this week (14-16 November) where Davey will make his FHO Racing debut, alongside Peter at the Macau Grand Prix.
Davey Todd:
โIโm really excited to be joining the FHO Racing BMW Motorrad team for 2025 and also the Macau Grand Prix this year. Itโs a really exciting time to be moving up to the Superbike class; I donโt feel like I got fair shot at last year when I got my first races in the class, but to now have the opportunity to do it with an awesome team, not only on the on the short circuits but for the roads as well, I feel like itโs a great step for me. Iโm just super excited joining the team, I feel like Iโm already starting to build a relationship with the guys just with the first few meetings weโve had.โ
Peter Hickman:
โI am mega happy to be staying with the FHO Racing team for another season, Iโm practically part of the furniture now! Weโve not had an easy season this year with one thing and another, but the team and myself have never given up despite some really challenging times. All the boys, and girls on the team work super hard but racing is racing and sometimes it doesnโt go the way we hope. This year, along with some others, we were really stung with some Championship rules changing, but thanks to the teamsโ hard work and dedication we started to make progress towards the end of the season. Itโs exciting to have Davey joining us next year, weโve been rivals on the Roads now for a few years but having him in the team will be mega and Iโm looking forward to working alongside him to help develop the BMW M 1000 RR package we have both in BSB and the Roads. I have to say a huge thank you to the team for all their hard work this season and of course to Faye for her continued support, hopefully next year we can have a strong season with lots to celebrate!โ
Faye Ho โ Team Principal:
โFor 2025 and also at this yearโs Macau Grand Prix we have such a strong team with Davey joining Pete and Michael onboard the BMW. We have two super talented riders on the roads for next season, and Davey stepping up into the Superbike class having won the Superstock Championship for a second time, I think weโre in for a strong season next year. Davey has so much energy and talent, and Iโm so glad that heโs come aboard and we can watch him develop and grow, while hopefully collecting some strong results for us. I canโt wait for my team to be back in Macau, I love sharing my home city with the team and showing everyone all the sights, itโs such a special place to me.โ
