Update : Yamaha Issue Statement on OMG Racing :

Yamaha Racing have responded to the OMG Racing news that they will not be competing in this years’ British Superbike Championship.

Yamaha Motor UK Statement: OMG Racing

OMG Racing, Yamaha Motor UK’s Supported Team in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, have today confirmed they will withdraw from the championship effective immediately for unforeseen commercial reasons.

Yamaha Motor UK would like to thank Alan Gardner and the OMG team for their hard work and efforts representing Yamaha to a high standard, not only over the 2024 season, but in the two seasons prior to that. In their time with Yamaha in BSB, OMG Racing have achieved vast levels of success, including taking Yamaha to championship victory in both 2022 with Bradley Ray and Kyle Ryde in 2024.

Yamaha Motor UK are in conversation with BSB promoter MSVR about the options and position in regard to the 2025 season.

WTF Racing Quit Road Racing

WTF Racing Quit Road Racing :

Almost immediately after OMG Racing announced they will not be competent in this year’s BSB Championship WTF have announced they will be be partaking in their planned 2025 Roads Campaign.

With James Hillier and Dominic Herbertson lined up for the campaign things looked really promising. It is devastating news for real road racing, the riders, the team and all those involved with WTF Racing.

WTF Racing has today announced the immediate cessation of all road racing activities due to significant commercial circumstances beyond the team’s control.

OMG Racing UK (the factory supported Yamaha Team) have announced today that they will not be competing in the 2025 B fit ish Superbikes Championship.
