Paul Jordan Re-Signs with Jackson Racing for TT 2026:
Magherafelt’s Paul Jordan is staying put for the 2026 Isle of Man TT, confirming a third successive year with the powerhouse Jackson Racing squad. After a stellar 2025 that saw him grab a Supertwin podium and push the front-runners in every class, Jordan is doubling down on the continuity that has made him one of Northern Ireland’s brightest stars on the Mountain Course.
The “no-brainer” deal sees Jordan remain on the machinery that brought him his best-ever results, but with one massive tactical upgrade: he’s switching to a Ducati Panigale V2 for the Supersport class.
Continuity is Key for Jordan
In a sport where jumping between teams can reset a rider’s progress, Paul Jordan is opting for stability. Having spent two years gelling with the Jackson Racing crew—a team that has previously fielded legends like John McGuinness and Dan Kneen—Jordan knows he has the foundation to move from “consistent top-ten finisher” to “permanent podium threat.”
“Continuing with Jackson Racing for a third year was a no-brainer,” Jordan said. “The aim is to build on a strong 2025 season and move up the ladder that bit more. Same team, same crew, and mostly the same bikes gives us a solid foundation.”
The Ducati Factor: A Game Changer for the Supersport TT?
While he remains on the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade for the Superbike, Superstock, and Senior races, and the Aprilia RS660 for the Supertwin/Sportbike categories, the big news is in the Supersport class.
Jordan is ditching the Honda 600 for a Ducati Panigale V2. This isn’t just any Ducati; it’s being prepared to a similar spec as the machine Michael Dunlop used to dominate the class in 2025.
Last year, Jordan finished a brilliant 4th in the second Supersport race, beaten only by the “Big Three” (Dunlop, Harrison, and Todd). By moving to the Italian V-Twin, Jordan is signaling that he isn’t just there to make up the numbers—he wants to win.
2025: The Year the Speed Logged On
To understand why expectations are so high for 2026, you only have to look at Jordan’s stats from last year:
- Third Fastest Ever: His final-lap speed of 121.899mph in the Supertwin race made him the third fastest rider in the history of the class.
- PB Laps: He recorded personal best lap speeds in every single category he entered.

Team Owner Alan Jackson is clearly a fan of the Magherafelt man’s work ethic. “It’ll be our third year together and that speaks volumes of how we see his talent,” Jackson commented. “We’re sticking with the Honda and Aprilia, while the Ducati V2 will be the same as Michael Dunlop’s. It’s all about giving Paul the tools to do the job.”
