Young Talent Adam Brown Secures Breakthrough U.S. Racing Deal

Dynamic young rider Adam Brown, who recently impressed race pundits on the JDR Yamaha, now has the opportunity to further his career with ALTUS RACING at Moto-America next month.

Young star Adam Brown has taken an exciting step forward in his career. After a short break from BSB Supersport, the talented Dungannon rider made a winning return to USBK, quickly reminding everyone of his remarkable ability and determination.

Working with renowned crew chief Davy Deveney, Adam’s confidence soared. Their teamwork saw Adam nearly unseat reigning USBK SS600 Champion Korie McGreevey, then outperform former British Champion Christian Elkin (Ducati), becoming the youngest R6 Yamaha rider to beat the new-gen Ducati at Bishopscourt. After a conversation with Cahal Graham, Adam was introduced to Jeremy McWilliams at the GO Classic Festival, where he stunned the crowd by qualifying fifth and surging to a brilliant second-place finish, just2.8seconds behind the formidable Richard Cooper.

This breakthrough performance caught the attention of racing legend Jeremy McWilliams, who immediately offered his support. In less than a day, Adam had secured a fantastic deal to join ALTUS RACING in America. At just 21, Adam will race a Yamaha R9 in the next two Moto-America rounds, starting at the iconic COTAS, Circuit of the Americas in Austin. The team is already tailoring his machine, and Adam will compete alongside top riders, such as Josh Herring, Darren Binder and his new teammates Jaret Nassaney and Stefano Mesa.

Crew Chief David Deveney praised Adam: “He’s a bright young man with a deep understanding of his race machine, which in turn makes things much easier for me to help find the set up that suits the lad. I think his recent performances here have proved just that”

Adam Brown said: “This is a dream come true after years of hard work. I’ve shown I belong at this level, and I’m grateful to Jeremy for believing in me. Everything happened so fast! I can’t wait to give it my all in America, almost like it’s my last race. This is my chance, and I’m not letting it slip. Thanks also to Josh Davis & JDM Team for their support and encouragement, for entrusting me with their R6 to race here at home, and also for giving their blessing to go to Moto-America”
