2026 Classic TT Results :

The 2026 Classic TT delivered exceptional road racing across the Isle of Man Mountain Course, featuring vintage machinery, new lap records, and historic milestones.

Qualifying Overview

Qualifying week delivered dry roads and rising speeds across all classes. Joe Yeardsley topped the charts to take pole in the newly introduced Junior 600 category, while Michael Dunlop and Mike Browne traded blistering times in the big-bike sessions, setting the tone for record-setting race days.

1. Historic Junior Classic TT

Defending winner Paul Jordan took a commanding victory in an attritional opening battle. Early leader Mike Browne set a lap record of 105.322 mph before retiring on lap two at Barregarrow due to a puncture. Retirements from Dean Harrison and Jamie Coward opened the road for Jordan to seal victory by 1 minute 37 seconds.

2. Formula One Classic TT

The three-lap Formula One Classic TT produced high-speed drama around the Mountain Course, headlined by another record-breaking performance from Michael Dunlop.

Mike Browne seized the early initiative on lap one aboard his Kawasaki ZXR750, carving out a lead of over three seconds. However, Dunlop mounted a ferocious charge on the Team Classic Suzuki GSX-R750, shattering both the class lap record and the race record with a stunning lap speed of 129.078 mph. Dunlop pulled clear to take the chequered flag by over 20 seconds. Jamie Coward overhauled Browne in the later stages to secure second, while Browne held on for the final step on the podium.

3. Lightweight Classic TT

Michael Dunlop dominated the 250cc two-stroke field from the lights, building a massive lead with a best lap of 119.081 mph on his way to winning by over three minutes. Michael Sweeney brought the IMS/CSC Yamaha home in second, while Rhys Hardisty secured third following the late retirement of Chris Moore.

4. Ultra Lightweight Classic TT

Run concurrently with the Lightweight race, the 400cc class saw Joe Loughlin break a 33-year-old benchmark on his final lap, posting 113.524 mph—the fastest official 400cc lap ever recorded on the Mountain Course—to clinch victory by 22.3 seconds over Owen Monaghan.

4. Historic Senior Classic TT

Exactly 30 years after his Mountain Course debut, John McGuinness put on a masterclass aboard the Winfield Paton.Setting the fastest lap of the race at 113.028 mph, McGuinness led from start to finish to claim his fourth win in the class by 26.8 seconds. Shaun Anderson repelled a late push from Mike Browne to take second.

5. Junior 600 Classic TT

In the inaugural running of the pre-injection 600cc class, Rob Hodson stamped his authority early. Hodson set a 120.276 mph fastest lap on the Neil Orford Haulage Yamaha to take the win by over 24 seconds. Behind him, Barry Furber held off pole-sitter Joe Yeardsley by just 0.409 seconds for runner-up honours despite nursing late fuel feed issues.

• 3rd Place: Joe Yeardsley (Team Yeardsley Yamaha)

6. Senior Classic TT

Michael Dunlop sealed a meeting hat-trick in the four-lap Senior finale. Taking the lead over the Mountain on lap one, Dunlop unleashed a race-best lap of 128.596 mph on lap two to pull clear of Jamie Coward, taking the chequered flag by 11.68 seconds. Greenall Racing secured a 2–3 podium finish with Nathan Harrison in third.
