The 2025 Tandragee 100 road races, held on June 27th and 28th, marked a triumphant return for the iconic event after a two-year hiatus, thanks to crucial resurfacing work on the challenging 5.3-mile circuit. The atmosphere was electric, bolstered by a star-studded lineup that included the legendary 33-time Isle of Man TT winner, Michael Dunlop, making his return to Tandragee after 12 years.

Dunlop certainly made his presence felt, dominating the big bike classes. He secured a hard-fought victory in the Open Superbike race after a thrilling battle with Michael Sweeney, winning by a mere 0.4 seconds. The excitement continued in the showpiece Superbike race, where Dunlop once again triumphed over Sweeney, this time by a more comfortable eight-second margin. In a display of incredible speed, both Dunlop and Sweeney shattered the outright lap record, with Dunlop ultimately setting a blistering new benchmark of 111.584mph.

Beyond the Superbike showdowns, the event delivered plenty of drama. Darryl Tweed snatched a last-gasp Supertwin victory after a final-corner error from Michael Sweeney. Mike Browne also had a standout performance, securing back-to-back wins in the Supersport class and even setting a new fastest-ever Tandragee 100 Supersport lap.

The 2025 Tandragee 100 was a resounding success, showcasing the thrilling nature of road racing and solidifying its reputation as one of Ireland’s premier national road races.
