2025 Tandragee 100 Dates Confirmed :

Just around two weeks ago the good news that the surfacing work needed for the return of the Tandragee 100 was to go ahead was announced.

The Tandragee 100 last ran in 2022.

Today the North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club (Tarmac Section) have made a press release that the 2025 Tandragee 100 will run over the 27th and 28th June 2025.

These dates will lead to a change in the look of the traditional NI road racing calendar with the Tandragee 100 coming in after the NW200 and Isle of Man TT, slotting in just before the Southern 100.

It is great to have the Tandragee 100 back on the calendar!

PRESS RELEASE 2025 TANDRAGEE 100 – TITLE SPONSOR & DATES

28th October 2024

On behalf of the North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club (Tarmac Section) Ltd, it is with great pleasure I confirm Around-A-Pound has been confirmed as the title sponsor for the 2025 Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 National Motorcycle Road Races.

The announcement comes as preparations begin to pick up the pace for the event, which is scheduled to take place on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June 2025.

The local company, established by Gerard and Siobhan Rice in 1999, are once again showing their support for the Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 National Road Race, having been key sponsors for the event since 2005!

“We are delighted that Around-A-Pound is confirmed as this year’s title sponsor. Gerard and Siobhan have been very supportive towards both the Club and the event for nearly 20 years, and we are thrilled to be continuing that relationship in 2025. The event just would not be the same without them, they have not only contributed significantly in a financial way since 2005, but been ‘hands on’ with course set up and on occasion offered advice and support when needed.

I’d also like to encourage the public to get behind our sponsors and support them, as well as the event. With our budget rising to over £150,000 and insurance increases over the past few years everyone who gives a donation or buys a programme are also making an important contribution to our event, alongside the 500 volunteers who make the event possible” said Anne Forsythe, Club Secretary.

Around-A-Pound has become a leading community retailer in Northern Ireland as a result of its consistent dedication to quality products at best value prices. Gerard and Siobhan launched their first store in May 1999 and today, Around-A-Pound employs over 85 staff, manages 5 successful retail outlets in Newry, Armagh, Lurgan, Warrenpoint and Newcastle, as well as a thriving online business.

From humble beginnings they launched their first store in Newry, in May 1999, initially creating employment for five people then increasing to ten within the first year. In June 2001, they opened their second outlet in the centre of Banbridge creating a further ten jobs. In the summer of 2005, six years after they opened their first store, they launched their third in Newcastle and in 2006 their fourth in Lurgan. 2000 saw the opening of the store in Armagh followed by the store in Warrenpoint in 2010.

This news is a welcome boost towards securing the necessary financial resources to enable the Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 to be a success once again in 2025. As a Club we are thrilled to have Gerard and Siobhan as our title sponsor as they represent hard working local people who give back to their community, just as we as a Club wish to do.

Anne Forsythe
Club Secretary
