Entries Now Open for 2024 Southern 100 Races

Entries for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races 2024 are now open! The event will take place from Monday, July 8th to Thursday, July 11th. Competitors should pay close attention to the regulations regarding clothing, helmets, boots, and gloves, which have been aligned with the ACU Mountain Course requirements.

Entries now open for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races 2024

Southern 100 Road Racing are pleased to advise that the Regulations and Entry Forms for the 2024 Meeting, which will be held from Monday 8th to Thursday 11th July are now available on the official website.

Competitors are advised that they should take particular notice of the regulations regarding clothing, helmets, boots, gloves which have been brought in line with the ACU Mountain Course requirements.

Personal Protective Equipment Information :

Crash Helmets – As per the regulations, for the Pre TT Races event in May, both FIM certified and ACU Gold certified crash helmets will be permitted. For the Southern 100 Races in July, only FIM certified helmets may be used.

Leathers, Gloves and Boots – As per the regulations, all must be marked as CE approved. Exemptions were made in 2023 during the transition year and as communicated to the riders concerned will not be given this year. Please remember that a back protector must be worn, which meets European standards, also detailed in the regulations.

2024 regulations were sent to all competitors. Any queries should be directed in the first instance to the Race Secretary.

Sidecar Information :

Sidecar specifications are similar to last year: Formula Two Sidecar Race. Category B1, B2. For Machines complying with ACU FII British Sidecar Standing Regulations including 675cc Triumphs & 900cc Parallel Twins. 765cc Machines are NOT permitted.
