Motorcycling Ireland Insurance Update : February 2025 :

Motorcycling Ireland have released a further statement re insurance for motorcycle sports in Ireland and their efforts to secure to secure a policy for 2025 events.

Motorcycling Ireland Board Update :

Yesterday evening on the 27th February, Motorcycling Ireland held a board meeting to discuss our current insurance

options for the upcoming year. To date, we have received several comprehensive quotes that include all of our disciplines. After careful evaluation, we now have some solid quotes on the table for discussion.

As anticipated, the figures for this year have risen compared to last year. During the meeting, the board extensively reviewed these quotes, understanding that these figures will significantly impact the future of our sport.

After thorough deliberation, the board has decided that the best course of action is to hold an open forum meeting with our clubs and members to ensure transparency and collaboration. This will allow us to address concerns, answer questions, and ensure that everyone is informed as we move forward.

The time and date for this open forum meeting will be communicated to all clubs and members in the coming days.

We look forward to engaging with you all to make the best decision for the future of motorcycling in Ireland.
