Mitch Rees Fastest Newcomer 2025 :
With only a couple of sessions having happened so far, due to some inclement weather that the Isle of Man has experienced during this Practice Week, it is even more impression that Newcomer Mitch Rees has become the fastest newcomer on their opening lap to the event.
Putting in a spectacular 123mph lap, on his first ever lap he snatches the record from Glen Irwin who had a 122mph.
It will be interesting to see what the New Zealander can do as the fortnight progresses. Getting a 130 mph lap will cement him as the fastest newcomer across the board – it’s a big ask but the potential has already and definitely be shown!
Currently in the qualifying stakes he sits 27 in the Superbike Class and 22nd in the Superstocks with that really impressive 123.050 mot lap.
