***PRESS RELEASE***
12th April 2025

On behalf of the North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club (Tarmac Section) Ltd, it is with great pleasure I confirm McCrum’s Motorcycles, Magheralin has been confirmed as the sponsor of the McCrum’s Suzuki First Open Race at the 2025 Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 National Motorcycle Road Races.
The event, which is scheduled to take place on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June 2025, will showcase McCrum’s Suzuki demo machines which are being generously provided by McCrum’s Motorcycles to the Motorcycle Union of Ireland (Ulster Centre) Travelling Marshals Team in their vital role at the Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100.
The local family run business, established by Wesley and Adeline McCrum in 2013, are once again showing their support for the Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 National Road Races, having been key sponsors for the event since 2016! McCrum’s, based in Magheralin, are the Main Suzuki Dealer in Northern Ireland.
McCrum’s also stock a range of High Quality pre-loved bikes for their customers to choose from. They pride themselves in doing their utmost so that their customers leave with the bike that suits them. With McCrum’s ‘no pressure’ attitude to sales, they aim to put the customer first! McCrum’s also offer workshop facilities for all brands of motorcycles.
Wes said “We are very proud to sponsor the McCrum’s Suzuki First Open Race at the Tandragee 100 Road Racing Event. We are also delighted to announce that this year we will be providing the MCUI Ulster Centre’s Travelling Marshalls Team our Suzuki Demos for the Tandragee 100 race weekend.”
Event Co-ordinator, Anne Forsythe said “As a Club we are thrilled to have McCrum’s Motorcycles sponsor the McCrum’s Suzuki First Open Race and we are excited to see the McCrum’s Suzuki Demo bikes on the iconic Tandragee 100 course. McCrum’s represent hard working local people who give back to their community, just as the Club wishes to do.
I’d also like to encourage the public to get behind all our sponsors and support them, as well as the event. With our budget rising to over £150,000 and insurance increases over the past few years everyone who gives a donation or buys a spectator programme and parking package are also making an important contribution to our event, alongside the 500 volunteers who make the event possible” said Anne.
This year we are introducing a new online ticketing system where you purchase your programme and parking package and a QR code will be emailed to you. You present this QR code to be scanned upon arrival at the event and you will be given a programme which grants you access to parking and viewing areas. Programme & Parking Packages can be bought https://www.tickettailor.com/events/northarmaghmotorcycleandcarclubtarmacsectionltd/1475570
We know real road racing fans are prepared to support events by purchasing programmes and parking packages in support of the Tandragee 100 Road Races. Thank you in advance for helping make our awe-inspiring event possible. Without your support road racing won’t survive.
The Tandragee 100 course is 5.3 miles long and takes place on public roads situated between the shallow hills of Tandragee and Markethill in Co Armagh, Northern Ireland. Roads close on Friday 27th June 2025 at 11.00am and open by 9.00pm and on Saturday 28th June 2025 from 9.30am up to 7.00pm.
