Throttle wide open; CB500 Hondas roar into action at Bear Competitions Cookstown 100 road races.
A question that I have been asked on a number of occasions is, are ‘CB500 Hondas’ allowed to compete at the Bear Competitions Cookstown 100 Road Races? The answer is a resounding YES! CB500 Hondas are officially permitted to race and will run within the Lightweight Supersport (LWSS) class.
This is a great opportunity for CB500 owners and riders to experience the pleasure of road racing at one of Ireland’s most exciting events. We are actively encouraging anyone with a CB500 Honda who is interested in competing to submit their entry for the Cookstown 100. Whether you’re an experienced racer or inexperienced with the roads, this is your chance to join this legendary event. Don’t miss out on the chance to line up on the grid and showcase what the CB500 can do on the roads!
Super Bowl LX: Defence, Drama, and a Fourth-Quarter Avalanche
Super Bowl Sunday delivered a little bit of everything this year—early tension, a grind-it-out middle, and then a fourth quarter that blew the doors off the game. When the confetti finally fell at Levi’s Stadium, the Seattle Seahawks were your Super Bowl LX champions, taking down the New England Patriots 29–13 in a game that felt closer than the score… until it suddenly didn’t.
Let’s walk it through, quarter by quarter, because this one had a very specific rhythm.
First Quarter: Feeling Each Other Out
The opening 15 minutes were all about nerves and field position. Seattle set the tone early by moving the ball consistently, but New England’s defense stiffened in the red zone. The Seahawks settled for a field goal, and that was it for the scoring.
It wasn’t flashy, but it was telling: Seattle looked comfortable, while New England looked cautious.
Score after Q1: Seahawks 3, Patriots 0
Second Quarter: Seattle in Control, Barely
The second quarter followed a similar script. The Seahawks continued to lean on ball control and patience, and kicker Jason Myers stayed busy, tacking on two more field goals.
New England had chances—some promising drives, some momentum—but turnovers and stalled possessions kept them off the board entirely in the first half. By halftime, Seattle hadn’t found the end zone, but they owned the flow of the game.
