After a fortnight of exquisite racing the 2017 Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling comes to an end.
Congratulations go to Michael Evans on his Senior Manx Grand Prix win and of course doubling it up with his Junior win! The first rider since 2011 to pull off the double win.
Add this double to his lap record of 122.866 mph and he has had one hell of a fortnight.
Second place in the Senior went to Barry Evans with Dean Osbourne taking third.

The start list for the Senior Manx Grand Prix has now been published, along with the final qualifying lap times.
In an interesting innovation the full grid will line up in qualifying lap order for the blue riband event, including the top twenty.
Friday 1st September – Senior Manx Grand Prix Race Day
Roads Close at 0930 until no later than 1700 and, if required, 1800 to 2100.
1015: Senior Manx Grand Prix Race (4 laps)
1225: Roads scheduled to open

Congratulations to Darren Cooper on his Manx GP win in the 2017 Lightweight Race. Second place went to Andy Farrell with Barry Evans taking the third spot on the rostrum.

Congratulations to Brad Vicars taking the win in the 3 lap Newcomers A Manx GP Race, Darryl Tweed taking second and Stephen Parsons filling the podium in third.
The Newcomers B Manx GP top three was the filled by the first place of Derek Wilson, second was Ben Rosendaal and Lee Bass in third.

Congratulations to Dean Harrison who took the win on the Classic TT Superbike Race, second place and the fastest lap going to Bruce Anstey and the podium was completed by third place Horst Saiger.
