The most successful rider in the history of the Briggs Equipment North West 200, Alastair Seeley, is set to return to the iconic north coast event in 2026 with one clear objective — securing a milestone 30th race victory.
The 46-year-old Carrickfergus rider will compete in the Supersport class at the May 4–9 event aboard a Binch Pro Racing Ducati, backed by 3B Construction. With 29 wins already to his name around the legendary 8.9-mile Triangle course, Seeley remains as motivated as ever to extend his record.
After missing the 2024 event due to a lack of competitive machinery, Seeley returned last year and made an immediate impact. He secured a podium finish in the Merrow Hotel Superbike race on the Nicholl Oils/SMS BMW — a performance that reinforced his enduring competitiveness.
Davey Todd set for Triumph Supersport
Davey Todd will be adding to his already successful partnership with Peter Hickman by riding a PHR Performance Triumph Street Triple 765 at the Daytona International Speedway 200, and perhaps more importantly on roads at the 2026 North West 200 and Isle of Man TT.

A question that I have been asked on a number of occasions is, are ‘CB500 Hondas’ allowed to compete at the Bear Competitions Cookstown 100 Road Races? The answer is a resounding YES! CB500 Hondas are officially permitted to race and will run within the Lightweight Supersport (LWSS) class.
This is a great opportunity for CB500 owners and riders to experience the pleasure of road racing at one of Ireland’s most exciting events. We are actively encouraging anyone with a CB500 Honda who is interested in competing to submit their entry for the Cookstown 100. Whether you’re an experienced racer or inexperienced with the roads, this is your chance to join this legendary event. Faugheen50 Sprint 2026 Dates Announced :
The FaugheenRR Club have confirmed today that there will not be a 2026 Faugheen 50, instead there will be a two day sprint event in July 2026, with plans moving forward for the Faugheen 50 to return to the roads in 2027…
Faugheen50 Club Statement..
After a very positive AGM the Club has voted to run a two day Motorcycle Road Racing Sprint in Faugheen on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of July 2026.
After discussing numerous options available, the club have voted that for us as a Club, with all due considerations, we will run a Motorcycle Sprint over the two days.

Following discussions with all relevant parties, Fore MCRR wish to announce
Walderstown Road Races will run on the weekend of 18th/19th July 2026.
Alot of work has gone into getting to this point, and to finally announce our date was the final piece.
Fore club wishes to acknowledge Faugheen club for allowing us to run on what was traditionally their date for races.
Fore Club also wishes to acknowledge the very hard work of the committee, lead by chairman, Micheal Halpin, and all it’s members.

Ian Hutchinson will join Burrows Engineering / RK Racing for his 2026 Supersport campaigns at both the Northwest 200 and Isle of Man TT, onboard the teams Ducati Panigale V2.
