TBNI.Blog promotes and advertises all road racing motorcycling events in the UK, Ireland and Isle of Man for free. Other events such as the Ulster Superbikes are also promoted for free.
The TBNI.Blog Road racing Calendar is also a completely free and secure resource available on the site and is easily imported to your own personal calendar on your phone / tablet /computer.
The Road Racing Calendar is, by far, the most used resource on this site with it being in the top 5 lists on Google of the query ‘Irish Road Racing Calendar 2023‘
Posts promoting road racing events constitute the huge proportion of this site’s content and each post is also promoted on at least the Facebook Page.
That is where the problem lies. Facebook, Meta and Twitter simply do not share our posts in a fair way.
The Facebook Page has in excess of 1k followers and likes yet, for example, the post promoting the first round of the Ulster Superbike Championship was shared with only 40 people! Facebook let 4% of our followers see that post. They then, very kindly, offered me the opportunity to have 1200 people see the post for £14. So, to get the message out to slightly more than those who have chosen to follow the page the Meta company expects £14 – and that won’t even be the entire 1k+ who actually wanted to follow the Page!
If you have previously found this website via either T80GSA.com or T80GSA.co.uk please update your bookmarks to reflect the current web address of https://tbni.blog
The T80GSA addresses will completely cease to function as of the 4th October 2021.
These domain retirements will affect very few of our visitors as these addresses simply redirected to the main https://tbni.blog/blog site. In fact less than one percent of site visits were organically coming from the T80GSA domains.
Over the last week or so the TBNI.Blog Site has been moving server.
That involves moving every file, every coded page, every image, every link and email address. There were over 50,000 files to move. Of course the computer does the camel’s share of the work but it can mean things get missed, corrupted or lost.
The new server and the site have been extensively tested and everything seems to be working as it should.
However if you come across any glitches or bugs then please let me know :
I would just like to put a quick note of thanks out there to all my regular visitors, and my new, for popping into the site over the 2018 TT Festival period.
The TT Period is always a busy one for the website but this year’s race week brought unprecedented visitors to the site.
As part of a simple restructuring and refocusing of the site, what it is about and where it is going I am proud to present to you tbni.blog
This new .blog domain will be used primarily and in conjunction with the tbni.co.uk domain. So whichever one you like is the one to bookmark, they will both work from this point going forward.
If you have a bookmark on either ProtectedBikerNI.co.uk or ProtectedBikerNI.com now is the time to update it. In the imminent future those domains will no longer be pointing to this site. (See this page for further info : https://tbni.blog/protected-biker-ni/)
So welcome to tbni.blog – thanks for visiting, and continuing to visit, and also for making 2016 our fifth consecutive year of growth – with a massive 32,794 visitors last year!
Let’s keep moving forward!
