The iFace cases are currently found all over eBay and YouTube at the moment, they are hugely popular and also due to this popularity they range massively in price. Expect to pay around £5GBP to have one delivered in the UK, NOT the £20 – £30 some eBay sellers seem to have them for sale at!

I’m not going to write too much about this case or its predecessor, the iFace 2 case, coming next, as it is simply a bright, cheap and cheerful case.

It is surprisingly well made, and with little details like the cut out Apple logo on the bottom all adding to the overall quality of the case.

When it is on it actually looks really nice, and due to the contoured shape of it, it is a pleasure to hold. As far as protection goes I’d be off the opinion that in an emergency it will help in the event of a small knock, however it is certainly not an impact case.

Getting the phone in is a nightmare, you really have to squeeze it in, and it is not pleasant watching as the phones buttons get squashed passed the silicon edge of the case, but once in it is certainly snug. Getting it out is every bit as bad, remember to bend the case, who cares if it breaks, don’t be bending your phone, obviously! The case is pretty rigid and you will fight with it to get the phone in or out.

Oh, and if you like photos you may encounter a problem. The flash becomes useless and will wash your photos in the colour of the case, in my instance – yellow. This is well documented and there is no fix, so if you use the case, you won’t be using the flash!

So in summary – nice case, pleasure to hold, feels well made and nicely finished, hard to get in, harder to get out and no flash. A cheap and cheerful case, that if you don’t need impact protection could very well be a nice change to your phone, oh and if you want a little chuckle read the back of the box and try to make even the tiniest bit of sense out of it!

  1. Looks and feels fantastic, the best case I’ve ever had and rubber makes it so easy to get on and off. Bought a red one and was so impressed got a white and green. My previous cases for the 4S have snapped around the top. Love, love, love it.
