HERBERTSON CONFIRMS FULL TT 2025 ENTRY WITH NEW HRRC TEAM

Dominic Herbertson has today (Thursday) confirmed that he’ll compete in all Isle of Man TT Races this year as originally planned, having formed his own team, HRRC – Herbertson Road Racing Company.

Herbertson had been due to contest the 600cc and 1000cc races for WTF Racing until their shock, and sudden, withdrawal, two weeks ago. However, Alan Gardiner, team principal of WTF Racing, has since supplied Herbertson with the stock Honda Fireblade he was due to ride.

That means 31-year old Herbertson will now take his scheduled start position of number 13 for the RST x D3O Superbike, RL360/Opul Superstock and Milwaukee Senior races. Having set a new personal best lap of 130.497mph at last year’s event, he’ll now be looking to build on that and add to the six top ten positions already achieved across the 1000cc classes.

Speaking of the news, Dom said: “Obviously it came as a real shock when the [WTF Racing] team announced they were having to pull out this year, and a real shame for the whole team and crew, too. They’d put in a huge amount of effort already, and I was just gutted for all the guys and girls involved.

“Thankfully though, Alan [Gardner] has managed to pull all the strings for me to supply the big bike, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I would have loved to have come to the TT with the full team behind me, but I’m also excited to get back to my roots in running my own little set up, and really can’t wait to get going.

“I also need to pay a huge thanks to everyone that’s got behind me over the last couple of weeks. The support has been incredible and really overwhelming, and I’ll be doing my best to make sure we get the best results possible.”

In a further boost, Herbertson has secured a Ducati Panigale V2 to contest the two Monster Energy Supersport races. The Hexham rider has already taken three top ten finishes in the Supersport division with a personal best lap of 125.951mph and will now be hoping to improve upon that further in 2025.

With a ride with Melbray Racing for the Metzeler and Entire Cover insurance Supertwin races already announced, today’s news confirms Herbertson’s participation in all eight solo races at this year’s TT.
