2026 Pre-TT Classic Road Races Results :

I have said this before, I will say it again and I will totally stand over it, there is no better way to start your TT Festival than the Pre-TT Classic Road Races at the Billown Circuit in Castletown, Isle of Man.

Held on the spectacular Southern 100 Course the Pre-TT Races mark the official start of the Manx Road Racing Season and given that it is run by the ‘Friendly Races’ you can be assured of a magical weekend of racing – featuring both 2 and 3 wheelers!

In 2026 the Pre-TT Classic Road Races were held on the weekend of Friday 22nd May – Sunday 24th May 2026. Practice and qualifying sessions were held on the Friday evening, but after a red flag incident the session had to be cut short due to diminishing light and the side cars had to be postponed their qualifying and practice sessions until Saturday. Saturday seen more qualifying before an evening of racing.

Racing concluded on Sunday afternoon, however unfortunately tragedy struck the meeting this year when during the second lap of the 400cc Alan Oversby lost his life following an accident on the second lap of the race.

Saturday 23rd June 2026 :

Race 1 : MS-PR Singles (6 Laps)

Race 2 : Foraging Vintners 1100cc Classic (7 Laps)

Race 3 : Geoff Duke Junior Superbike (7 Laps)

Race 4 : MC Locksmiths Sidecar Race 1 (4 Laps)

Sunday 24th June 2026 :

Race 5 : Greystone Chartered Accountants Senior Classic (7 Laps)

Race 6 : Words & Spaces 250cc Classic & 125CC Post Classic (6 Laps)

Race 7 : Vintage MCC (IOM Section) 350 Classic (7 Laps)

Race 8 : Fred Peck 400cc Post Classic Race (6 laps)

Race Red Flagged – No Results.

Race 9 : UGGLY Post Classic Superbikes (7 Laps)

Race 10 : Cheeseden Rentals Sidecar Race 2 (4 Laps)
