A full gallery of images from the day’s action is still to follow, but honestly it was a glorious day with what can only be described as an epic Tandragee 100 Feature Race. I won’t spoil the result – just keep scrolling to see it, but know this, we got a new lap record from the winner at 2:55:11s!

2018 Isle of Man TT Race Winners’ Payout – One of the most popular posts of the last year on this blog was the Isle of Man TT – Race Winners Payout so with the start of the Road Racing Season less that two weeks away from and TT fever starting to build I thought I would update the post for 2018 – and add a little more information to cover more than just the TT Senior Race.
But one of the most discussed topics is how much do these guys / girls get for winning the TT? You might be surprised, but one thing that is very important; for the majority – if not all the competitiors – it isn’t about the cash – it’s about the prestige.
Everyone loves Lego, no matter their age Lego is truly a 1-100 product (maybe 4-100) even publications like Time claim it to be a better investment that gold. Generally there are two types of Lego people – the Collector and the Builder.
The Collector does just that – collects sets, puts them away somewhere safe and then, maybe, one days sells them for a profit – or at least hopes to.
Then you have the Builder – they tear the box open, tip out the contents and have fun building up whatever was inside.
I’m a bit of both- collecting and building. Some sets I put away, some I build and some I buy a pair of, one to build, one to collect.
This set : 75885, the Lego Speed Champions Ford Fiesta M-Sport WRC is one such set I doubled on. Why? Because I really wanted to build one and then I though it’s only £12.99 and there are an awful lot of both Ford and Lego enthusiasts so it would do no harm to buy a second and keep it pristine. Who knows someday it might be worth a bit more?

Great news for the Northern Irish Road Racing Scene in the form of Guy Martin returning for 2 confirmed events!
Guy Martin will be returning to the Northern Irish Road Races this year with his first stop being the Cookstown 100 on 27th and 28th April 2018. Guy will be riding his own 750 BSA in the Yesteryear Classic Race.
Then it’s off to one of Guy’s favourite courses – Tandragee – for the Tandragee 100 where he will again pilot his BSA in the Forgotten Era and Classic Races. The Tandragee 100 runs on 4th and 5th May 2018 .

The 2018 Northern Ireland Motorcycle Festival (MotorcycleFest) ran at the Eikon Centre, Lisburn from Friday 2nd February 2018 – Sunday 4th February 2018. The event has been running at the Eikon Centre since 2016 and seems to be going from strength to strength.

It’s confirmed! It’s more than a rumour John McGuiness will be riding for Norton in 2018.
And that is how you deliver breaking news!
Rumours have been rife since late 2017 that John McGuinness could find himself on top of a lush silver Norton in 2018. However with this weeks earlier announcement of Josh Brookes on the 2018 Norton – and that was it – it seemed that the rumour of John McGuinness as his team mate had died a death.
