The Relentless North West 200 – Portrush 17 – 19 May 2012 Galleries.

I know I have been promising these for quite some time, and if you have been contacting me in relation to when they were going up please accept my apologies for the delay.

It just took a little longer than I was expecting to get the time to trim them down and make sure the best photos made it.  I had well over 700 to sort through, and I hope I have brought you the best of them!

The only gripe I have, which to be honest about I am reasonably devastated over is that there was a horribly placed fence just in front of me that played havoc with getting the wheels of the bikes in the shots.  Unfortunately I couldn’t get any higher to try and cut over it, and I didn’t want to move, as my position at this chicane was far too good to let go.

The other thing I thought was that the decals and livery of the bikes were just too nice for me to not put up the photos due to the fact that the fence interfered with the wheels a little.  So I am aware that the fence is not ideal in the photos, but I also felt you should get a good look at the bikes regardless.

Also this was my first attempt at motion photography, and I have to say I really enjoyed trying a few different techniques.  I still am learning and motorsport photography is definitely something I will be working at in the future, so expect some more.

Coming Soon – Extreme Stunt Show Gallery

If you live in Northern Ireland you have without a doubt seen the posters up in every town across the country for this ‘Extreme Stunt Show.’  I was really dubious about how a stunt show could be mobile and good, I had a vision of a poor circus, with people who couldn’t give a ^*&?> about the show, and well it’s mobile so how can it be any good.  Regardless I went to the Extreme Stunt Show more out of curiosity to see how bad it could be.

And I am happy to say I was WRONG!  This is a great day, with really skilled guys doing really crazy things!  If you get the chance to go, do so and you’ll enjoy it.  I mean skilled and crazy, and that’s a damn good combination!

I have a full Gallery to share in relation to this and a video!  WOO HOO! Yes indeed a video!  Now it is my first attempt at a video so don’t expect too much, but it is just a taster.

Finally there is a good chance these guys will have left Northern Ireland by the time the Gallery and video are up, so once again if you get the chance to go check them out, do it, and then come back here to remember it!

Oh and as you will see I got a glorious sunny day, actually got a little burnt, but with the crazy ass weather we are getting at the moment, keep you fingers crossed for a nice day, as with any outdoor event I can imagine the rain could really put a dampener on things!

Oh and if you are not in Northern Ireland I believe these guys are touring Europe all summer long!

Full Gallery and Video COMING SOON!

And so Euro 2012 begins

The Euro 2012 Championships start today and it will be a full on couple of weeks of football. A great way to get through the summer void. So make sure you follow my twitter for all my tips and thoughts on the Championships as they develop.

Enjoy the tournament and my first tip is the hosts Poland to beat Greece. Currently at evens on Bet365 it seems a decent chance to double up.

So when I logged into my account I had the princely sum of £8.33. Lol. So let’s see if I can make it grow. All of it is on Poland. So fingers crossed or I’ll bust out on the opening day. Ha!

Coming Soon : The NW200 and another G-Shock!

Just a quick note of what’s coming soon.  I have a full gallery featuring some of the great action from the North West 200 Motorcycle Races, and another unboxing of a G-Shock, this one is rather special in that there is only 150 globally!

So it’s coming soon!

May 2012 – Reebok ZigTech Unboxing :

Just a little bit of randomness here, I have decided to start running in a ‘hopeful’ attempt to get fit. Having done about 16 miles in a pair of running shoes that I think I got around 2004 I decided to get a new pair of running shoes, the choice I made was a pair of Yellow / Black Reebok ZigTech.

It would be very unfair of me to rate these in anyway as I am far from a professional runner, in fact I am far from an amateur runner, so I definitely feel on this occasion there are better places to get information on fitness products. Who knows though maybe soon you will be coming back here looking info on fitness…

Anyway the shoes are comfortable, I have covered about 35 miles in them since I got them, and they seem to be holding out perfectly well, oh and I think they look awesome!

And for some serious reviews I think this place has a good grasp on things : http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/reviews/shoes/1.html

Flyin' Ryan
Flyin’ Ryan

As promised here is my little post on Northern Ireland’s Festival of Speed.  I won’t labour on and on about it though, just check out the pics for a pretty concise series of events for the day.

Remembering that this was the first such event in Northern Ireland on such a scale.  And to be fair for a first attempt it was a really good day.

The events were great:

Wrestlemania XXVIII – 01/04/2012

Well Wrestlmania returns this evening for its 28th main event.

Wrestlemania is the big one and to be honest I think I stopped having any interest in the WWE (or WWF as I remember it) about 15 years, or more, ago.

I am a fan from the era of Hulk Hogan, the Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man Randy Savage, Tatanka, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. In fact I think u have the WWF Album featuring these guys somewhere on a cassette!

However my Dad is a big fan. He is always caught out watching it and recently when I have been over visiting I have to say I have been glad to see it come on. It is simply good quality harmless fun. Obviously it is fake which is the guy of all the mon believers, but the WWE don’t even claim it to be real. It is entertainment and I think they are doing a better job at entertaining us than the majority of soaps and sit-coms at present.

Unfortunately tonight though I won’t be able to watch it as it starts here at 00:00. I have to be in work at 07:00 so thats not going to work.

All I can say is if you are lucky enough to get to see it tonight, leave your brain at the door and enjoy.

Finally – Come on the Rock and Undertaker. Do it for the old school! And Mr Undertaker Sir let’s make it 20 – 0.

Hopefully I’ll catch the reply when they take it off pay per view.

Oh and America, let’s play fair, and make these big events for Saturdays. Us guys in Europe have to get up and earn the crust in Monday mornings. We can do that if the WWE has kept us awake all Sunday night!

The Rock and Undertaker for the win!
