There is no doubt the Honda C125 Super Cub is a thing of beauty. The throw back to the original Honda Super Cub is obvious and it has an iconic styling that has stood the test of time.

In continuous manufacture since 1958 with production surpassing 60 million in 2008, 87 million in 2014, and 100 million in 2017,^[2] the Super Cub is the most produced motor vehicle^* in history.^[3] Variants include the C100, C50, C70, C90, C100EX and C70 Passport, as well as the Honda Trail series.

So, you have the iconic bike, with the iconic styling, now it is up to you to make sure you keep it looking as iconic as possible and protect it from the elements as best you can.

Inside or Outside :

For most people that will mean one of two things, keeping the bike protected from the elements outside, or protecting it whilst stored inside.

Personally I am lucky enough that I need the protection for the bike whilst it is being stored in my garage. So the commentary on this post will refer mostly to keeping the bike inside.

That is obviously a much less harsh environment than what the raw elements could throw at it, but even if you bike is stored in a garage it is definitely worth considering keeping it under cover whilst inside.

In my case the garage is basic, the bike is not in a bubble, there is no dehumidifier, no heating, no climate control. It is a basic standalone brick garage. The temperature variations are pretty big as are humidity levels. In winter the temperature can reach a few degrees above freezing, in summer it can reach the mid 20s. Last week alone the humidity levels have ranged between 53% and 91%.

Not only that but it is a working garage. Other appliances are in there so there is foot traffic as well as the fact that my go to BMW is in there too.

So for me a cover offers an additional level of protection, over what the garage already offers from the elements. It protects from dust and debris in the garage, protects from anything brushing against the bike and protects from the temperature range in the garage which during the cooler periods of the rear could result in condensation. All of this protection comes in below £20GBP.

Ballistic Smooth Series Case for iPhone 5 / 5s UnBoxing

Just a quick unboxing gallery this evening of the Ballistic Smooth Series Case for the Apple iPhone 5 / 5s.

I have this installed on my iPhone 5s, which also has a full body Zagg Invisible Shield installed on it and as you can see the case still fits. If you are too using a screen guard you will need to be very careful as the case itself is rather tight fitting. It is a plastic case, so unlike a silicon based case it is not very flexible. Care is needed when popping in the last corner as it is easy to lift the screen guard, which happened to me, thankfully it didn’t damage it and the case went ok with a bit of gentle persuasion on my next attempt.

The case comes with a nice feature, namely its bumper corners, they are interchangeable and the case comes with four sets, green, red, white and black.

The case is called Smooth Series and it is for exactly that reason, it is smooth, it slips into your pocket easily. and won’t pull out every piece of dust and lint in your pocket unlike its silicon cousins. The case feels well put together, sturdy and strong, the bumper corner adding a little extra protection.

All ports are open and easily operated, the rocker switch functions easily and well, as do the volume buttons. The Home button is open, which is great for iPhone 5s users and their fingerprint centre. There is no screen protection although the case is desk safe, in that the case is edged and if set down screen first the edging means the screen will be kept clear of the desk.

iFace 2 iPhone Case – Thoughts and Photos…

As quickly as you have read and learn about the iFace cover for the iPhone, here now is the iFace 2. This allegedly has been produced to eradicate the problems of the iFace cover which unfortunately plagued the original case ( )

You will quickly see from the photos below that a lot has changed, the sleek contoured curves are gone, the little Apple logo is gone, and it has now went from being sexy hour glass shaped to a bit of a fat boy! The nice right colours are still present and the big fix is meant to be the camera doesn’t wash out when the flash is used, well guess what mine does, now depending on what case I choose I can have a yellow or red wash out.

April 2012 Review : G-Form Extreme Sleeve for iPad (and others up to 10″)

OK so first off it should be noted that I am a little bit OCD when it comes to keeping my gadgets and tech in pristine condition. I mean after all I paid big money to have them, money that I had to work damn hard to get, and as such I want to keep my stuff looking nice and shiny.

Now I know that some people say that you shouldn’t obsess about keeping things immaculate, I have to say I don’t, I just try and buy a few things that will keep my tech new and shiny without me having to worry about them at all. Means more money back on the re-sale for the upgrade too!

So my iPad (3) then, it cost me £659. For a little further investment I can keep it clean, scuff and scratch free and protected anywhere I go, without having to worry about it.

My iPad (3) for example has a Zagg Full body invisible shield on it, an Apple Smart Coverand a Belkin rear shield. As far as scuffs and marks go it is pretty protected, all I needed was something to keep it safe in my bag.

Then I went to the Gadget Show Live 2012 at the Birmingham NEC, and whilst wondering around I saw a yellow iPad case. Now yellow is my colour so I was instantly intrigued. Then came the claims of this yellow iPad case being the home to an iPad that was dropped from 100,000 ft and survived.
