Magherafelt’s Paul Jordan is staying put for the 2026 Isle of Man TT, confirming a third successive year with the powerhouse Jackson Racing squad. After a stellar 2025 that saw him grab a Supertwin podium and push the front-runners in every class, Jordan is doubling down on the continuity that has made him one of Northern Ireland’s brightest stars on the Mountain Course.

The “no-brainer” deal sees Jordan remain on the machinery that brought him his best-ever results, but with one massive tactical upgrade: he’s switching to a Ducati Panigale V2 for the Supersport class.

Continuity is Key for Jordan

In a sport where jumping between teams can reset a rider’s progress, Paul Jordan is opting for stability. Having spent two years gelling with the Jackson Racing crew—a team that has previously fielded legends like John McGuinness and Dan Kneen—Jordan knows he has the foundation to move from “consistent top-ten finisher” to “permanent podium threat.”

“Continuing with Jackson Racing for a third year was a no-brainer,” Jordan said. “The aim is to build on a strong 2025 season and move up the ladder that bit more. Same team, same crew, and mostly the same bikes gives us a solid foundation.”

With less than 80 days until the flag drops on Glencrutchery Road, this isn’t just a PR exercise. TeamRST is coming to the Mountain Course with one goal – winning.

Hutchinson: The Legend Returns to the Front

For fans of real road racing, Hutchy needs no introduction. A 16-time TT winner, he remains the only man in history to ever claim five victories in a single week (2010). After a few seasons of battling health setbacks and machinery changes, Hutchinson sounds more determined than ever.

“This project is very personal to me,” Hutchinson said at the launch. “After everything I’ve experienced at the TT, I still have that drive to prove we can compete at the very front. We’re aiming for that top spot.”

Illiam Quayle, one of the Isle of Man’s most promising young racers, will make his highly anticipated road racing debut at the prestigious BEAR COMPETITIONS Cookstown 100 on April 24th/25th.
This marks a significant milestone for the 22-year-old Manxman as he lines up in the New Generation Supersport 600 class on board his own 600 GSXR Suzuki, bringing his impressive short circuit experience to one of the most celebrated events on the Irish road racing calendar.

The son of renowned former racer and TT Rider Liaison Officer Richard ‘Milky’ Quayle, Illiam aims to continue his family’s proud racing tradition as he embarks on this exciting new chapter. The eyes of the road racing world will be on Cookstown to see how the young Manxman adapts to the unique challenge of real-road competition.

Heartbreak at the High Banks: Todd’s Daytona Debut Cut Short

DAYTONA BEACH, FL — The 84th running of the Daytona 200 was supposed to be the glittering American debut for Saltburn’s finest, Davey Todd. Instead, the “World Center of Racing” proved why it is as cruel as it is iconic. Competing for the PHR Performance squad (supported by his 8-Ten Racing partner Peter Hickman), Todd’s weekend ended not in the winner’s circle, but in a hospital bed.

The drama began early in Thursday’s qualifying. Todd was “cleaned out” by another rider on his opening lap, a low-speed incident that appeared manageable. He managed to limp the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS back to the pits, where the PHR crew worked feverishly to straighten the machine.

The Impact

However, the gremlins of Daytona are persistent. Returning to the track for the final ten minutes of the session, Todd suffered a catastrophic second crash coming out of Turn 2. A mechanical failure—suspected to be a steering jam resulting from the initial impact—sent him directly into the wall at high speed.

“I tried to jump off it, but couldn’t really get off it properly in time,” Todd shared in a post-surgery update.

These late 1970s/1980s 250 & 350cc machines will run in the designated ‘Classic GP’ category. The Cookstown & District Motorcycle Club is proud to embrace the Classic GP category and has added a dedicated class for Classic GP 125 machines (Pre-94). This means the exhilarating buzz of two-strokes will fill the air, promising tighter, more competitive grids and thrilling racing action for riders and fans alike. The 125 (pre-94) machines, such as early RS125 Hondas, TZ125 Yamahas, and Garelli 125 GP machines, will compete alongside the lightweight Pre-73 Classic machines.

The 46-year-old Carrickfergus rider will compete in the Supersport class at the May 4–9 event aboard a Binch Pro Racing Ducati, backed by 3B Construction. With 29 wins already to his name around the legendary 8.9-mile Triangle course, Seeley remains as motivated as ever to extend his record.
